Business analysts assess how organisations are performing and help them improve their processes and systems. They conduct research and analysis in order to come up with solutions to business problems and help to introduce these solutions to businesses and their clients. The three main roles of a business analyst are to analyze data models and derive logical conclusions, develop innovative solutions for operational and strategic changes, and budget and forecasting to ensure that costs do not exceed the limit. Business Analysts engage with business leaders and users to understand how data-driven changes to process, products, services, software and hardware can improve efficiencies and add value. They must articulate those ideas but also balance them against what’s technologically feasible and financially and functionally reasonable.
